OMNIPOTENT
Laborna Gallery
30 June – 30 July 2020
Omnipotent is a project dedicated to figures of reference, individuals who have found the strength to radically redefine their trajectory, moving beyond their initial condition and embracing transformation.
Structured as an analogy between the human and the natural world, the concept explores omnipotence not solely as a divine attribute, but as an active tension between the limits of the human condition and the regenerative forces of the universe. In this sense, omnipotence is not a fixed state, but an evolving process shaped by experience, crisis, and adaptation.
The exhibition proposes a shift in perspective: from a stable, idealized vision to a dynamic one in which destruction and reconstruction coexist. External and internal calamities become generators of the present, revealing both the fragility and the regenerative potential of being. A key reference within this framework is the primordial force of chance from which Earth itself emerged, a formation born out of apparent chaos. In parallel, the self-creative process holds the same capacity to endure, resist, and transform. Thus, Omnipotent becomes a meditation on becoming as an act of force, a space where vulnerability and power do not oppose each other, but rather coexist, generating new forms of existence.
